FOLKLORE BOOK SIGNING

On Sunday 22nd October at 2.30pm in the cellar of the Royal Court in Liverpool prior to that evening's show, James, or at least five-sevenths of James, held a signing session for their new biography Folklore by music journalist Stuart Maconie.  Given the short notice and limited publicity, the signing only being announced on the internet at 4pm on the Friday, about 50 fans queued to meet the band.

The band were in incredibly good spirits, signing everything that was put in front of them from the book, through One Man Clapping, to tickets for that evening's show.  They posed for photographs and laughed and cracked jokes throughout and talked openly and excitedly about their new material.

Sadly, no more signings are planned at this time due to the band's busy schedule, which is a shame as this was a great success and enjoyed by both those fans who had met the band before and those to whom it was their first opportunity to get close to their heroes.
