JAMES FANZINES
There are four James fanzines that have been printed over the years. They all rely heavily on fan contributions to continue and do struggle to get articles - so please support them. Reviews, personal experiences related to James or controversial viewpoints are all welcomed. This is your chance to air your views.
In alphabetical order, the fanzines are:
A US-based fanzine that has seen four issues, three before 1994 and one in 1998. Meticulously put together and with some exclusive interviews with Tim, Saul, Dave and Mark across the issues. It's not known whether there will be future issues, but Change of Scenery may still have back issues.
The baby of the James fanzines with it's first issue out now (click here to read my review)- run by four female James fans from Folkestone in the UK. It shows a lot of promise and is actively looking for contributions for Issue 2.
Anyone who's been to a James gig in the past four years has undoubtedly encountered John Pude at some stage selling the redoubtable Change of Scenery fanzine which is in its umpteenth issue. It has all the usual features - comprehensive reviews, collector's sections, exclusive interviews and open and sometimes controversial discussion of James matters.
Classic hilarious James spoof fanzine. Both editions are now online.
