Update 3.8.10
Eil.com are advertising the forthcoming mini-album "The Morning After" with the following details :
"Following the release of its companion, 'The Night Before', 'The Morning After' has an intuitive, low-key 'campfire' feel and features some of the saddest, darkest lyrics Booth has ever come up with. From bluesy opener, 'Got The Shakes', about an alcoholic guy waking up and realizing he has beaten his wife, through to its closer 'Fear' - Atmospheric, experimental and just a little bit haunted, 'Fear' tackles that dominant inner monologue that stalks the life that's lived too long. With additional highlights including 'Look Away' for the simple reason that it is almost impossible to listen to it without singing along, and 'Tell Her I Said So' about Booth's mother dying in a home, which ironically shows the first signs of light, suddenly embracing disco, employs a childrens' choir and becomes curiously life affirming)."

Tim asked me to apologise to those fans disappointed at the lack of a Spring 2009 tour, which he talked about on the Autumn 2008 tour. The band wanted to go back to North America, but had lost money on the first tour and needed to find a way to make the financials work to support a tour. Luckily, they now have that in place.
To coincide with the tour, James will be releasing The Morning After The Night Before, a 2-cd set of the two mini albums released in the UK in 2010. Tracklisting is as rumoured below - Got The Shakes, Dust Motes, Tell Her I Said So, Kaleidoscope, Rabbit Hole, Make For This City, Look Away and Fear. The official site states the UK release is September 6, although record industry insiders have shown us a September 13 date as well. So who knows?
Tim also confirmed that James had wanted to perform on the Sunday at Latitude festival with special guests, but the organisers turned them down.
