Michael Kulas is presently in the studio recording a new album with his new band which should be finished by Christmas in time for an early 2003 release. He plans to come back to the UK early next year and will hopefully play a gig while he's here. He is also producing an album by Toronto actress / singer / songwriter Katie Griffin.

The film Jade Love with the soundtrack provided by Michael Kulas has been chosen for the Vancouver Film Festival. Samples from the album can be heard on the official Kulas Online site.

Kulas played another Toronto show at the weekend at the Reverb Club. Click here for a review. It now appears that his second album Another Small Machine will not be repressed on his own Interloper label. Negotiations are still ongoing with several labels about the release of his forthcoming third album.

Kulas has announced another live show in Toronto, this time at the Reverb Club in Toronto on Friday August 23rd. The Red Light Music night which he hopes will become an annual event will also feature Mommy and Round 2. Kulas will be on stage at about 10.30pm.

Kulas is playing a solo acoustic support slot for Mommy at Toronto's Rancho Relaxo on Saturday 22nd June at about 9.30pm. He's still in negotiation with record companies in Canada over a new deal.

Following his performance to close the NXNE Music Festival in Toronto last night, Kulas has scheduled another show at Healey's in Toronto for Wednesday 12th June. Kulas will also be interviewed by MuchMore music later this week.
Kulas has also written the soundtrack for a new UK movie called Jade Love. Samples will be available on the official Kulas site very soon.

Kulas has announced another show at The Horseshoe in Toronto on March 19th as part of CFNY's Dave Bookman's New Music Night. Michael will be on stage at 10.35pm. Michael will be returning to the UK in April "to begin a new recording project."
