Tim performed as Judas on Friday night at the critically acclaimed Manchester Passion. As previously revealed he sang Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now and did a duet of Blue Monday with Darren Morfitt who played Jesus. Darren also sang a version of Sit Down. After the cameras stopped rolling, Tim was cajoled into leading the 6,000 crowd in an emotional rendition of Sit Down.

Tim Booth is performing as Judas as part of Manchester Passion, a live event taking place in Manchester's Albert Square this Friday 14 April from 8pm. Tim will be singing The Smiths "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now" and also performing a duet with Jesus of New Order's "Blue Monday". Embrace have been chosen to perform England's World Cup song ahead of a proposed reworking of Sit Down - whether this will now see the light of day is unknown. More details will be posted if they come available.
