Update 21.8.01

According to Playlouder.com, James have been "released from their contract" by Mercury. Actually, Pleased to Meet You was James' last album on their present contract, but as usual, the press never let the truth get in the way of an excuse to diss the band.  More to come, no doubt.....

Update 7.8.01

James headlined the Benicassim Festival in Spain on Friday night with the show broadcast live on Spanish radio.  They then flew back to the UK to headline the Guildford Festival - click here for reviews - on Saturday, before an early evening slot at Dublin's Witness Festival on Sunday where they also performed in the acoustic tent.

Tim hinted at the Witnness Festival that English Beefcake may be the next single off the Pleased To Meet You album.

Pleased To Meet You has dropped out of the Top 75 albums after only three weeks on the chart.
