Tim Booth was an onlooker last night at the launch party and gig last night for the new nine-track mini-album "Between Dogs and Wolves" (pictured left) by The Lovegods at Brighton's Komedia club, returning the compliment as Deah and Art attended Wednesday's launch of Tim new's band at the Arts Centre. Tim and The Lovegods presently share the same soundman as well. The mini-album is available for the bargain price of £7 including postage through The Lovegods website at www.thelovegods.com. They are also about to embark on a short UK tour in support of the mini-album. |

Sanctuary Records official website is listing Tim's as yet untitled debut solo single for release on April 26.

Tim Booth played a successful first show with his new band at Brighton's Sussex Arts Centre last night.
The tracklisting was as follows : Words (acoustic), Laid (acoustic), Discover, Into Darkness, Wave Hello, Monkey God, Redneck, Love Is Addiction, Mama, Sometimes, Falling Down Again, Bone, Down To The Sea and Fall In Love With Me. A full review will appear here in the next day or so.
Tim's new band consists of Lee (Muddy) on guitar, Robin on bass and occassional sax, Lisa (Xan or "Sid to her friends") on keyboards and Milo on drums.
The album Bone is now scheduled for a release in June on Monkey God Records, Tim's own label through Sanctuary Records. There may be more gigs scheduled before the album release, although there are no definite plans at this point in time.

Tim Booth has launched his website - www.timbooth.co.uk - and has updated this with news on the recording process for his new record, details of his inspirations, his dance workshops and a gallery section. More is promised in the near future.

Tim Booth's solo album "Bone" is due for UK release on May 3, 2004. The album is co-written with KK, who had production credits on Pleased To Meet You, and Muddy Baker. Keyboardist Xan, aka Lisa, who played on the acoustic shows Tim did last year, is also in his band.
No tracklisting is yet available, but Tim unveiled six tracks at acoustic shows last year - Discover, Shame, Hold You To Your Words, One, Down To The Sea and Falling Down.

Tim Booth was due to play a free show in Doncaster on 29th January at the Lakeside Village to support a new film called Kiss And Tell by Squillion Films. In true Tim tradition, the gig was cancelled late in the day and Tim was replaced by Lisa Scott-Lee, ex of Steps.

Bandmad, suppliers of official James merchandise, are presently reducing prices on all James merchandise. T-shirts are down to £12, jackets to £18, tea-towels to £6 and the rather lovely flower jumper from the last tour to £22.
