Update 19.1.03

Tim Booth's June 1999 interview for ITV's Faith and Music show is repeated in the early hours of Sunday night / Monday morning (20 Jan) at 12.20am.  To read a transcript of the interview click here.  The interview is interspersed with clips of James and Booth and the Bad Angel promo videos.

Update 15.1.03

Ex-James trumpeter Andy Diagram features on two tracks of Lemon Jelly's acclaimed album Lost Horizons.  He is credited with "Train sound effects" on Return To Patagonia and trumpet on Experiment Number Six.

Update 12.1.03

Larry Gott last week played a gig with vocalist Mark Curtis and James associate Edward Barton at the launch of a new bar called SixtySouth in Waterloo near Crosby.  In an interview with the Crosby Herald, Larry described the music thus "our style fuses tribal, folk, jazz, classical and R + B music to create a totally unique genre".  Larry and Edward are planning to write more songs with a view to releasing an album.

Kulas has announced that he is to play again at this year's For The Love Of Jeff Buckley tribute show on January 25 at Toronto's Rivoli Club. He will also be opening for two well-known Canadian bands 54-40 and The Pursuit of Happiness at the 4,000-capacity Hershey Centre Arena on Saturday February 22.

He has also completed the recording session for the Katie Griffin album and will be involved in the mixing process over the next few weeks before recommencing sessions for his own forthcoming album.

The British chain store Argos have at present an in-store tape featuring a female singer covering the James single Waltzing Along amongst other songs.  One Of The Three has no details as to who the vocalist and band are, but if anyone knows, please tell us.

Update 10.1.03

www.timbooth.net, Tim's long-awaited and thirteen months late website, is now up and running.  There's very little in the way of news other than he is running a dance workshop in Manchester on the 1st and 2nd of February and two Dolphin Connection experience weeks in La Gomera in the Canary Islands between the 7th and 21st of February.

As has been mentioned before by Tim, please don't get interested in these because it's Tim Booth of James, these are non-James activities and not for James fans to hang around with Tim and you're likely to piss Tim off if you go for that reason.  The site promises to be operational in February so hopefully there will be more news on his long-awaited solo stuff.

Update 6.1.03

Adrian Oxaal is playing another solo gig at the Evening Star pub in Brighton on Sunday 26th January.  For more details check out the Evening Star website.
