JAMES : BBC TOP OF THE POPS REVIEW
No, pleased to meet you, sir! After nearly 2 decades together, James have come through early 90s success, dropped the student Baggy-ness of `Sit Down', found Rock, gone Pop and now created one fine album. Ambient, atmospheric production comes courtesy of Brian Eno (especially on `Space' and `The Shining'). Meanwhile, they're on top lyrical form, tackling consumerism (on the `No Logo' style `Junkie), alongside love, desire and despair top stuff!
