Doubts featured in James setlists, in acoustic and electric formats, from 1983 through to 1987, where it was performed acoustically with Gavan on piano for Radio Manchester's Meltdown programme.   The Radio Manchester session version from 1987 has been resurrected for The Gathering Sound boxset.
